Ontario weather is hard on exterior paint — freeze-thaw cycles, summer UV, and humidity all conspire to peel, fade, and crack a job that wasn’t done properly. Most exterior paint failures in Southwestern Ontario trace back to one cause: bad prep work.
At Patel Painters Pro, we take exterior painting seriously because we have to. We pressure wash every surface, scrape failing paint, prime bare spots, and use weather-resistant paint products formulated for the Canadian climate. The result is an exterior paint job that lasts 7-10 years on most surfaces — not 2 or 3. Start your free site visit and we’ll walk through your home with you.

Every home is different, so every job starts with a free on-site visit and a fixed-price written quote. As a guide:
Prices include paint, materials and labour. HST is extra. The price we quote is the price you pay.
Freeze-thaw cycles, summer UV and humidity are hard on paint, so we use Sherwin-Williams exterior products made for our climate:

A full exterior is typically 5–8 working days, depending on the size of the home, the prep needed and the weather. Trim and door projects are often finished in 1–2 days. We paint exteriors from late April to late October, when temperatures and humidity let paint cure properly. Your quote includes a firm start and finish date, and we keep you updated if rain moves the schedule.
Based in Woodstock, our crew works every day along the Highway 401 corridor in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, London and Woodstock, plus surrounding communities.

Late April through October. Paint needs daytime temperatures above about 10°C, nights that stay above freezing, and a dry forecast for a day after painting. If the weather turns, we move your date at no charge. More in our guide to the best time to paint a house in Ontario.
Yes. Gardens, decks, walkways and equipment are covered before washing or painting, and we move outdoor furniture and BBQs out of the way.
With proper prep and quality paint, most surfaces last 7 to 10 years. Decks need re-staining every 2 to 3 years, and trim may need touch-ups sooner on the sunny sides of the house. See how long exterior paint lasts in Ontario.
Yes, with breathable masonry paint so moisture can escape. Painting brick is close to permanent, so we talk it through with you before you decide.
Older homes may have lead-based paint. We'll talk about it at the estimate, and if lead is suspected we recommend testing before any scraping or sanding.
We point out soft or rotten wood at the estimate. Small trim or fascia repairs can be quoted with the paint job; larger repairs should be done by a carpenter before we paint.
